We can't take too much credit on this bar! Nature has provided the ingredients we just put them together. Jewelweed is the main ingredient in this poison ivy antidote. In the wild it often grows with or near poison ivy and has been used for centuries (probably longer!) as a folk remedy for poison ivy, poison oak as well as bruises, cuts, eczema, insect bites, ringworm....the list goes on.  We recommend both the soap or our salve (see Body products) to be  in everyone's home to not only help with these conditions but to help safeguard against getting them in the first place.
